At ARTS, the Creative Collaborator initiative is all about showcasing the incredible voices and talents within our amazing team. We are continually seeking new ways to highlight the diverse range of skills that make our community so vibrant and dynamic.
We’re excited to announce the latest project in our Creative Collaborator series, a partnership with Katie Carrion, Arts on Campus Program Coordinator. Katie has brought her animated vision and artistic expertise to the forefront as the illustrator behind the new visual identity for the Sanctuary Everywhere: Youth Arts Festival Fall 2025.
Sanctuary Everywhere is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of artistic expression, community, and the transformative power of creativity for young people. This year, we wanted a design that captured the spirit of sanctuary and inclusivity, and Katie’s artwork does exactly that. Her design weaves together playful shapes, bold colors, and thoughtful imagery to reflect the diverse voices and talents the festival brings together every year.
Katie’s creative process was collaborative, drawing on inspiration and input from youth artists in our programs, our team, and the festival’s core themes. The resulting branding is not only visually eye-catching but also meaningful, inviting everyone to imagine and build sanctuaries of community and creativity wherever they are and in the everyday objects around them.
We’re grateful to Katie for her inspiring contribution and thrilled to showcase her work as the face of this year’s festival!

Youth Arts Festival promises to be a joyful celebration, featuring performances, exhibitions, youth artist panels, and a range of engaging activities. Attendees can expect to see the incredible work of young artists showcased in every space of the ARTS Center. We've also included areas for relaxation and creativity, where guests can unwind and even participate in spontaneous art-making.
