ARTS Center | 12 - 3PM

200 E 12th St, National City CA 91950

Better Together: Youth Arts Festival joyfully celebrates the vibrant creative expressions of all the young artists who participated in the A Reason to Survive (ARTS) programs this Spring 2026 season.

Young artists from National City and the South Bay, along with professional teaching artists, engage in various creative processes that create space for them to reflect on their identities and the world around them. We believe our community grows stronger when we support each other and share the responsibility to create the world where we want to live in, thats why this Spring we chose the theme of Collective Care. With this focus, we hope to inspire the youth in our programs, along with our team, to build a culture of support together.

Creative Collaboration

We want to give a major shoutout to T Jay Santa Ana, our new Communications Specialist, who is the talented illustrator behind the branding for our Better Together: Youth Arts Festival!

T Jay’s artwork beautifully captures the creativity and magic present at the ARTS Center and within our programs every day. By showcasing the various art mediums we teach and highlighting some unique features of the ARTS Center, each piece enriches our community and amplifies the power of collaboration.

We are incredibly grateful to have such a talented and supportive team, and to work alongside so many inspiring artists. Together, we truly make ARTS a better place for our community!
